AR-11, Alien’s Change of Address Card

If you have filed an immigration benefit request with USCIS, you must notify us of any changes of address as soon as possible to ensure you receive all correspondence and benefits without delay. If you are a noncitizen in the United States, you must report any change of address to USCIS within 10 days of moving. This reporting requirement does not apply to A and G visa holders and visa waiver visitors.

We strongly encourage you to submit your change of address through a USCIS online account. This self-service online tool:

You also may file a paper Form AR-11 by mail to change your address. This meets the legal requirement to notify USCIS of a change of address. We encourage requestors to use a USCIS online account to update your address.

You can find detailed information about how to change an address, including special instructions for specific populations, on the How to Change Your Address page.
